One day we were sitting in the presence of the Imam when a large gathering of people arrived from Tehran. One of the doors to the house was shut and the Imam noticed it. He asked: “Who closed this door. It was either me or one of the other gentlemen or perhaps both of us who replied that the door had been closed at the behest of his son Hajj Aqa Mostafa so that the people would not be inconvenienced. The Imam angrily retorted: “No, open the door; let the people be free; no one should interfere in my house. The doors of my house must be kept open to the people.”
