Eid al-Ghadeer was celebrated in many places all over Iran and an atmosphere of happiness was felt throughout the country.

On Tuesday, the 18th of Dhil hijja which coincided with the 15th of November, ceremonies were held all over Iran to celebrate Eid al-Ghadeer. This great day was also celebrated at the Imam’s holy shrine and at Husseiniah Jamaran. Poems were read and food was given out, all in honour of this day.
