The summit scheduled to held on October 13, Monday, from 10-12 a.m has been organized with close coordination of the research center and the institute for compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini’s works. It will be held at chancery hall of the research center in the Iranian capital.
The confence is organized under the title women as “role Model in building a civilized future from the Perspective of Imam Khomeini's dyanmic thoughts and the Discourse of the Islamic Revolution.”
At academic gathering, Dr. Parisa Alilou, director general of the Women and Family Affairs Office of Tehran Municipality, Dr. Seyed Sadeq Haghighat, Faculty Member of the Imam Khomeini and Islamic Revolution Research Institute, Dr. Mansour Ansari, Deputy Director of Research of the research institute, and Dr. Mohammad Mahmoudikia, a faculty member , will express their views and deliver lectures and speeches.
Regarding the status and greatness of women in Islam, Imam Khomeini has stated: “The prosperity and wretchedness of mankind depends on women since they are the educators of the human beings; women shape real human beings through their proper training, and all the happiness and good deeds originate from women.” He also adds: “If brave women are taken away from nations, the nations will succumb to defeat and decadence.”
