Imam Khomeini did not like seminary students to waste their time

A memoir by Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Majid Irawani

It has been recalled through a series of memoirs that Imam Khomeini did not want the seminary students to waste their time.

The students used to receive their stipend at a proper time in the beginning of each month so they can focus on their studies without any financial worries and concern.

But one of the students who liked Imam too much used to visit a place each day where Imam met those who consulted him for an advice, solution or other relevant works.

It was recommended to Imam to pay an additional to that student because he was said to be a pious and one who worked and studied hard. This time he had to travel to his hometown.

At this Imam said, If he was a hard working student, then why he was wasting his time by visiting irrelevant site to him.
