One of the Friday Imams in the center of one of the provinces had written to Imam Khomeini that the small amount given as tuition to the Friday Imams will not go anywhere and it will only be the rent of the office or the waterman's salary, and he requested an increase.
Imam replied: Gentlemen should be students.
